Mint Coriander Chutney

Here’s the recipe for a simple mint and coriander chutney – for the December chutney fest!

  • 1 bunch fresh mint
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • A marble sized ball of tamarind
  • Salt to taste

Chop the mint,coriander, onions, ginger and chillies. Transfer all the chopped contents to a mixer. Add the tamarind and salt. Grind it until you get a coarse paste.

This chutney can be used for making a quick sandwich and tastes great with chapatis and dosas as well.
