Shake it with Salt and Peppa!

I’m new but I’m learning, I’m awed and I’m glad, I’m thrilled to be making new friends! So let’s shake it at the end of a whole quarter with STB, with some salt and spice!

I saw these adorable daschund salt and pepper shakers on Kamini’s post over at the Cook’s Nook carnival at The Keybunch. And bingo, I knew what STB’s first link party should be about! Get those unusual, quirky, or just plain beautiful salt and pepper shakers out of your kitchen and up on this blog :). Come to think of it, if you’re a sugar and everything sweet person – it can even be coffee, tea, sugar canisters. There’s a whole bunch of lovely ones in your kitchens, for sure!

Here’s mine, to start with. These are available in the supermarkets now, from Keya. They’re too simple but oh so practical and even a little pretty. You just take the little lid off and turn it upside down and it’s a mini salt and pepper crusher. The containers are not refillable though.

So join the party with yours and be sure to tell your friends! This is how:

  • If you have a blog, do a post on your salt and pepper shakers, with a picture.
  • Link back to this post on STB. Click the Add Link button at the end of this post. You’ll be taken to the inlinkz page. Click Add your Link. Enter your information and copy your post’s link (permalink) into the URL field.
  • If you don’t have a blog, send the picture/s to anu@scatterthebatter.com and I’ll post them here!

I sure hope you’ll join in and make this a fun November :).
