Cheat Chutney

This is a Gujarathi chutney, traditionally made by roasting and pounding chickpeas, then adding spices. The beauty of this recipe is that you don’t have to roast the chickpeas, then powder it. Just use readily available, packaged sev and you’re good to go!
What you need:
  • 2 cups Sev
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 small garlic pod, peeled
  • Few sprigs of chopped coriander (optional)
  • Few tablespoons of water
  • A pinch of salt
How to make it:
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend to the consistency you like.

Use the chutney to accompany dhoklas, idlis, dosas.
